Los Bebes Inc is the leading software company in Bamenda, Cameroon, specializing in secure web/mobile app development, digital platforms, and cybersecurity across Central Africa.
Our Story
Los Bebes Inc was officially founded in April 2021 in Cameroon by Ashibi Gideon Sama, but our roots go back much further. It all started in 2007 when Gideon began building blogs as a hobby in high school, sparking a lifelong passion for technology.
Over the nearly two decades since, that passion evolved into deep expertise across web development, cybersecurity engineering, and secure software architecture. What began as a personal journey has grown into a technology company dedicated to building digital platforms that solve real problems.
Our mission is to design and build secure software, web and mobile applications, and cybersecurity tools with security integrated from the start. From our headquarters in Bamenda to projects deployed across Cameroon and beyond, we bridge the gap between local innovation and global standards - proof that world-class engineering can be built here, for here.
While our core leadership is a small, dedicated team, we scale dynamically to meet any challenge. We maintain a network of specialized professionals - from senior developers to security analysts - who we bring aboard for complex projects, ensuring we always have the right talent for the job.
What We Build
We are unusual among software agencies in our region, and deliberately so: most of our engineering track record is public and verifiable, because we build and operate our own products rather than only describing past client work. Fiap Systems runs businesses across eight industries from one multi-tenant platform. FiapPay processes escrow payments entirely over WhatsApp on a Rust backend. Mifi Core is a full core banking system for CEMAC microfinance institutions, built around a double-entry, append-only ledger. Our public-safety line - EMS Dispatch, Firewatch CM, and the ARIA platforms - connects citizens to emergency responders. Panier links farmers directly to buyers, and Daily Pilot keeps personal productivity data entirely on-device.
That product portfolio is our proof of work. When we tell a client we can integrate mobile money safely, isolate tenants strictly, or keep a rural branch running through an internet outage, we are describing systems we already operate - and you can read exactly how they are engineered in our case studies.
How We Work
We keep engagements simple and honest. Scope is agreed in writing before work begins. Development happens in short cycles, so you see working software early and can change direction while it is still cheap. Security review is part of delivery, not an optional extra, and every claim we make about a system - what is encrypted, what is tested, what remains to be done - is specific and verifiable.
And when a project ends, you are not locked in: source code, documentation, deployment configuration, and training are handed over, so your team (or any future partner) can carry the work forward. We would rather earn the next engagement than engineer your dependency.
We work in English and French, on site in Bamenda or remotely across Cameroon and the CEMAC region, and we keep our engagement models flexible - fixed-scope projects, ongoing retainers, and rapid-response contracts for incidents and investigations. Whatever the format, the standard is the same: software we would be willing to run ourselves, because most of the time, we already do.
